I scored this thing for a good price online and would love some input.

First the good - it seems to work! :) The Variac portion works great, and from what I can tell, the mains are indeed isolated as desired. Here are some gut shots:

My concern is that the three-prong outlets on the front are grounded to the chassis. I've read countless contradictory articles about why this is good vs. bad, but I bought it for isolation of DUT for my scope, so I'm thinking for that purpose it may not be the right solution.
Where I'm getting a bit confused is with these readings:

Both hot and neutral to ground are open until it's turned on, after which the meter will register 8M resistance.

Are these readings normal given that the hot/neutral are isolated but the ground/chassis is not? The concept kind of hurts my head and it's been a long day.

Oh, and if anyone has a manual I'd love to get a copy!

Never seen the unit before but I see it measures leakage of some sort, so that may explain the 8 meg ohms to the earth connection. It does indeed have an isolation transformer and a variac from the looks of it. Being the earth pins are all connected it wouldn't give you any isolation if you plugged a three pronged device into the output. You will need to a quick "mod" or two for it to fully isolated to meet your needs.

did you ever get a manualmfor it?

You pasted some great pictures of the Vector WP32 power supply.
I have one that is missing the 2 integrated circuits on the Right Hand side of the supply.
If possible could you supply the part no. of these two chips.
I know this is asking a lot but I would like to restore it.
Thanks Charles
