Hello Interweb -
I have a Tektronix DPO4000 that is running a version 2.01 firmware. It doesn't appear to have been updated after it was made. I tried installing a version 2.68 firmware, the current one, and nothing happens. The scope just boots like normal, and doesn't seem to read the flash drive.
A couple things I can share -
- The scope does recognize the USB flash drive without issue as I can explore it using the file explorer
- I have tried the forceinstall.txt approach, with no difference
- I have tried using different USB ports, with no difference
- I have tried downgrading the firmware to 2.58 with no difference - this is the oldest firmware that Tek has listed on their website
- I am not technically adept enough to read what the scope is doing to figure out what is happening (but I am teachable)
So here I am, hoping that an earlier version firmware will work. Admittedly this is a low likelihood event, but it is worth a try.
Did you happen to have one downloaded long ago that you can share?
Thanks for your help, and any suggestions.
