Hi! I have made some videos about my Victor multimeters. You can see what's inside.
Unfortunately videos are in Russian, but electronics is international!
Victor 86E:
DCV, ohms measurement:
https://youtu.be/Wdu3qMmQrz0?t=5m7s
Internals:
https://youtu.be/NVemYowSrPI
Overview:
- Not have high voltage protection, and place for it.
- Small fuse
- AVG AC
+ isolated USB from box.
Medium accuracy
- Not have REL button from box.
+ Temperature measurement.
VC9807A+(9806 similar):
DCV, ohms, cap measurement:
https://youtu.be/mI7zogPAnE4?t=1m39s
Internals:
https://youtu.be/9fP02oy6dWY?t=1m2s
Overview:
- No high voltage protection, and place for it.
- Only 1PTC and current range protection (small fuse)
TRMS, but only 1kHz
+ Excellent accuracy of my multimeter.
Digital calibration.
Manual range.
- Not have REL button (may be modable, but I don’t find datasheet for main IC).
-
Spasibo.
Can't say I understood much of it, but nice videos anyway.
One of the best Victor meters (86E). Quality is improving, at last.
Do you know what the open voltage is on diode measurement?
Do vstre4i.
PS: They also sell a new 4 1/2 bench meter that doesn't look too bad. No info on price yet:

Diode measurement voltage is 3V for 86, 3,2V for 9807
I saw price in Chinese site. Model VICTOR 8245(not A) cost about 200$

Victor’s English site gives not very actual information.
