I have made a video where I show how I was able to extend usable frequency range of my Spectrum Analyzer using an external mixer.
Probably you want to skip some sections if you find it boring and then come back if you still need details. Enjoy.

Bacause I did screen capture at 1080P this video is best watched in HD. I am not exactly sure if it was a right decision to do screen capture recording in 1080P because some people may have slow connection - please let me know. Sorry for slow mumbling in some parts - making videos is hard :) I hope it will improve in future.

Nice video! Any chance there is a similar trick for upconverting a signal? Some folks want to look at audio on their SA...
