Title: Viewing Agilent 1672G data on PC?

Hi everyone,

I have an Agilent 1672G logic analyzer and am wondering if anyone out there knows of any utilities for viewing the captured data on a PC.  Trying to visually scan through the waveforms on the unit is intolerably slow.  I can download the captured data to my PC via FTP but I haven't found anything that can interpret it.  Any suggestions?

The software for the Agilent 1680/1690/16900 series (https://www.keysight.com/find/5.xx-lpa-sw-download) can read HP 16700-series fast binary files, but not HP 16500-style files as far as I know (wouldn't hurt to test). If you downloaded the data via FTP, then stripping off the LIF header (see the 1670 users manual) might help. The data format (without LIF header) is described in the programmer's manual, and it may be feasible to convert it to something PulseView (https://sigrok.org/wiki/PulseView) can read.

Instead of visually scanning, could you set up a trigger or use the built-in search instead?
