As janengelbrecht already said: This is a rebadged Hantek/Tekway/whatnot scope. Dave has done a review on them (janengelbrecht linked to that, too).
Seems you did not watch it. Because if you did, I doubt you would even consider this scope.
You dont want the DS1054Z because of the AC trigger issue? Thats peanuts in comparison to the voltcraft's ringing problems. Hint: Watch the video linked above from 33:00 onwards.
This "voltcraft" scope cannot even compare to the DS1000Z series. Especially not for the price. Remember: It cost
more than the DS1054Z does.
Intensity grading? nope! serial decoding? nope! 12/24Mpts memory? not even close! 30k waveforms/s? more like 30! The list goes on...
Honestly I'd take a DS1054Z even with the issues over a previous generation less capable scope.
This. And not because I like rigol, but because it
is the best bang-for-buck in the market at this time.
In the end, its your decision. But I have the feeling that you do not know enough about these 2 scopes to make that decision just yet. Collect some more information and compare them before you spend your money on something you might regret later on.
