Question: Anyone know how to connect an oscilloscope to an ESA612 to prove its 10 Hz sine wave is working? Background: The Fluke ESA612 Electrical Safety Analyzer, is meant to test EKG/ECG monitors. One of its features is to output a 10 Hz sine waveform. Its documentation ( https://www.flukebiomedical.com/sites/default/files/esa612_umeng0300.pdf at https://www.flukebiomedical.com/products/biomedical-test-equipment/electrical-safety-analyzers/esa612-electrical-safety-analyzer ) shows how to connect a patient monitor to the ESA612 to see this waveform. But, when I connect an oscilloscope to the connections, and set the ESA612 to 10 Hz (or any other waveform), all I get is 60Hz and high-frequency noise. This is a recently calibrated unit; so, I figure the error is likely my understanding of how to do this measurement. All advice and criticisms are welcome. Thanks, Bob |
