| Wavetek 75 useful? |
| (1/1) |
| PwrElectronics:
Have the opportunity to get a early 90s Wavetek 75 ARB. Is this useful to generate typical sine or square waves etc as-is or would I need to program it each time? For most uses I don't need the ARB functions and standard test signals are fine. But, the cost (free) is attractive... |

You dont need to program it each time and as you dont need the ARB functions it could be an usefull tool for you. :-+ |

They are pretty cool units, but the ARB waveform editing is designed to work in conjunction with an analog scope in X-Y mode with intensity modulation (sometimes called the "Z input" on the back of the scope). If you have one like that at hand, well worth it, even if just to "have a play". |

Hello, what happens to the device if you don't take it? Best regards egonotto |
