Many people have a bench where they use their meter. 2. Mains powered, the large power consumption is probably cheaper than batteries. 3. Not really when comparing specifications. I use both and do see som advantages to bench meters, but they also have a lot of disadvantages. I.e. You need both in many cases. For the first DMM a handheld would be best, for the second it is about equal (Depending on what you do), for the third your definitely need a bench meter. |
