What can I do get the SDS804 to trigger this waveform
« on: December 02, 2024, 02:38:59 pm »
Hi everyone,

after 30 minutes of trying to get this to trigger correctly (I tried edge, pulse, interval, slope), I'm running out of ideas what I can do.

So this is more an academic question, I guess. I have this power supply voltage that somehow gets the counter signal added on top (not sure how that happens, maybe through ground?). Of course it would be great to get rid of THAT, but I first like to be able to see it clearly (in run mode, stopped works OK).

There are lots of spikes and I guess that's what is throwing it off. Any ideas?

Try to set hold-on to 120us. Its located in the trigger menu.

Looking at the signal, another setting that might have helped is HFR (High Frequency Reject), from the manual:
Quote
HFR: Signals are DC coupled to the trigger circuit and a low-pass filter network attenuates high
frequencies (used for triggering on low frequencies)
