What device is this?
« on: November 09, 2024, 07:48:14 pm »
Here's a challenge for the collective genius of this group.  I'm trying to replicate a lab setup, and all I have to go on is some grainy pictures.  I've been able to identify most other components, but not this one.

Based on its location in the lab, I suspect it is a variable power supply, possibly AC, maybe even a bench variac.  The resolution is just low enough that I can't make out the manufacturer.

Can any of you?

Google image search suggests it's a Chinese made battery load tester.

Yep, those look like ZKE Tech EBC or EBD models.  Possibly an EBC-A20H.

I believe that the EBC models are charge and discharge, and EBD are discharge only.

Nailed it.  Thank you!

One of these days I’ll remember that google sometimes gives better results than other search engines…  |O
