FLUKE 1734 Energy Logger Live Data
« on: August 06, 2018, 03:50:57 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm currently undertaking a project where we are taking energy readings using the FLUKE 1734 Energy Logger.  The project is a trial but we want to have it looking as well as possible, so it'd be great if we could see live energy data on the application we've built.

Does anybody know if it's possible to somehow get the energy data on this meter/logger to be read live and then transfer this data to a web application, rather than just being able to download historical logs?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The Fluke 1734 is Fluke Connect compatible so you can connect to it via WiFi, however it isn't particularly strong and the receiver needs to be within 10M of it, depending upon the surrounding environment. You may be able to manage a bit further if there is direct line of sight.

To view live streaming of data, I believe you need the Fluke condition monitoring package which is licensed software and works through their cloud connection to send the data to share the data.

You may be able to connect with the free Fluke Connect package and live stream that data through a VNC viewer.

You would need to consult with your local Fluke dealer to identify what facilities are available inboxed your locale.

Kind regards
