Is it usable for wire tracing in boats and electric distribution boxes?

It's rather strange that there are no specifications given.  Only a sales pitch and some hard to understand directions for use.

I don't think this is a good unit; some evidence is that they will not ship to the USA.

Interesting.  I've certainly worked on jobs where this would have been a godsend, but not often enough to warrant buying one and carrying it with me all the time.
