As I will work a bit deeper in power supplies in the near future, I want to have a differential probe (or two...) for my scope.
As I am about to begin to dip my toes in the water in this regard, I do not want to spend a fortune (or more money on a probe than on my scope).
From what I have read, the micsig line of differential probes is some sort of secret tip amongst those kind of probes- priced at around 200something Euros, thats a good starting point, when other probes from Hameg used on ebay are sometimes more expensive. And other companies that are available through german reselllers sometimes begin at 500€.
So certainly there is a difference between those probes, but apart from some datasheets, which things do I have to look out for?
Basically I want to do some probing around mains voltages in powersupplies and lighting fixtures. So I have 230VAC here in Europe, which means around 700V peak-to-peak is needed.
The DP10007 seems to be the best value in the range I want to work, sadly being out of stock with most suppliers actually.

There is a new probe from Migsig, I dont know if you have looked at it yet, the DP750.

Thank you! From the specs it looks like it has better CMRR, but different connection/cabling.
I would be curious if anyone has had the ability to get some real hands-on experience yet?
