Title: [Solved] What's the 4-20ma percentage fuction on DMMs used for?
Post by: ballsystemlord on October 13, 2023, 02:45:04 am
In the spread sheet here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/multimeter-spreadsheet/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/multimeter-spreadsheet/)
There's a function listed as 4-20ma. It's explained in the thread that it means that the DMM reads:
0% for 4ma
50% for 12ma and
100% for 20ma.

What is this useful for? Like aside from LED current draw?

Thanks!
