| [Solved] What's the 4-20ma percentage fuction on DMMs used for? |

In the spread sheet here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/multimeter-spreadsheet/ There's a function listed as 4-20ma. It's explained in the thread that it means that the DMM reads: 0% for 4ma 50% for 12ma and 100% for 20ma. What is this useful for? Like aside from LED current draw? Thanks! |
