What's this? Worth buying? ALPINE ASG-301 100kHz-170MHz AM/FM Signal Generator

I am looking for AM/FM signal generator for AM/FM radio repairs (or attempts to repair ). Saw this on ebay:

Looks very nice, but I couldn't find any information on it by googling alpine and model name: ASG-301.
Also what possibly may mean this "AM noise limit sensitivity high"? Untested and sold as-is. Worth buying?
Seller also have listed untested "Panasonic VP8193A" that one looks kinda popular..

Alpine had its name applied on some brands, can't recall witch,  if the price stay low, it seems a good opportunity to buy it,  but the problem written on the top case ?  not sure if it can be a nag
