Exactly that.
I'd happily buy one of those, even though they do now offer a permanent licence. I just draw the line at a 30% uplift in costs to use a function that is screen printed onto the front of the unit. That is physically impossible to use without the BenchVue licence.
Oh, and you're supposed to have the permanent licence on maintenance for £100's a year.
It seems Keysight is joining the Altium gravy train.

Yes, £285 a year for the support.
£1900 for the battery emulation node locked licence, on top of the £4000 for the instrument itself.
