I actually don't know if this new scope contains the long awaited "Megazoom V", I could very well be in the wrong thread. I do know (by assumption) it's not the old Megazoom IV.
I do hope it is, just for nostalgia sake, as I've used every "Megazoom" scope from #1.

if this is the scope from the sweepstakes link, it's an infiniium scope(that's what it says on the link), do the current infiniium scopes use megazoom IV at all? i thought they used a different platform entirely from infiniivision scopes which do run on megazoom IV. how likely is it that they use a new megazoom chip in the infiniium class scopes? i don't think too likely, especially since the megazoom IV scopes have the splash screen that says megazoom on boot, and since you say you don't know if this has megazoom V, then the splash screen doesn't say megazoom, hmmm!

I don't see that on the URL or the page?

I don't believe the Infinium scopes use the Megazoom chipset.
I have not seen the splashscreen because I physically don't have a scope, but I do have a photo and some basic specs and can assure you it's not an Infiniium.

i found the site while googling around about keysight scope repairs as i try again to fix my scope, that link showed up in the google search somehow :-// there's no indication on the site how old that page is, except for the copyright 2024 thing, so it's at least from this year, but it saying infiniium, and the shape of the scope made me think it was about the MXR B they released not long ago
