Sorry to repeat a post but I need some advice : for a physics experiment I need a spectrally clean signal gen with very little phase noise. 2-300Khz to around 1Ghz. What might be some good 2nd hand options around $1k ?
I'd prefer something which can be repaired should need arise. Though I suspect spares might not be available.
No fancy "bells and whistles" needed, not even modulation.
