So I’m new to scopes, still learning them, just bought a Hantek 2C10 hacked to 2D15 (literal 2D25 software muted to 2C10) but I’m wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the Rigol 1202Z-E as the Hantek software is buggy, some design choices not “ideal” and a few other “issues” that may have me regretting my choice once I really know what I’m doing. I’m using the s ops to repair Class D, A, A/B amplifiers, etc so the range is usually before the MHz range but would still like a decent range, AWG would be a plus (main reason for hack unlocking the Hantek) but ya, any advice for a newb scope user would be much appreciated, I’ve been reading this is the “golden boy scope” of EEVBlog? Any others that I should consider? I spent about $250 on this Hantek, Amazon has the 1202Z-E for about $350, and what I am after is reliable readings, good design choices, customizable on screen readings (if possible) and most of all reliable on point readings ...as of right now there’s on going tests with software over a year old as the newest seems to have too many bugs to be useable ...not what I want to spend $250 on, so ya, plz advice this Padawan o Master Jedi of the Electeonics world 😅
