My 7562 has LT1021 as reference. Looking at the board at the time, there are unpopulated pads for a LM399 and a opamp, I guess also for a 10V circuit.. |

Hello guys! I just purchased this Yokogawa 7552 Bench Multimeter for myself. Can you tell me if it has an audio continuity feature? Thank you. |

I setup a continuity check using the limit checking pass/fail output. Put a buzzer in the back and program hi/low limits for resistance. It helps to have the memory card, so one does not need to reprogram the limits every time the meter is turned on. |

A couple pf years ago I bought on close out a Iwastu VOAC 7062 which is Identical to the Yokogawa DM7560 6 1/2 digit DMM. As Yokogawa built these for Iwatsu the quality is excellent. There is a teardown of these units on the forum. As you may know one of the divisions of HP was YHP Yokogawa HP. The VOAC 7062/DM7560 have voltage reference chips (heated buried Zener like LM395 IIRC) that are marked with an HP part number. This is no surprise as I believe YHP builds or built some DMM products for HP and perhaps continues to do so. The DM7560 is very similar to the current 6 1/2 digit DMM's of late from HP/Agilent/Keysight. YHP was most famous for their LCR Meters and Bridges and I believe the HP9342? Q meter and the HP4329 HiZ meter among other products. Top quality all the way. Enjoy your new meter! Sam W3OHM |
