I mostly work with software, but I have access to the hardware lab at our office. We have all kinds of equipment there; it's a paradise for electronics enthusiasts for sure.
The stuff we have are as follows:
- 2x Video Clarity video analyzers
- TestEquity 1000H series environmental chamber
- 2x Objet30 Pro 3D printers
- Tektronix MSO5204 MSO
- Tektronix TDS3054C DPO
- Agilent 33521A waveform generator
- Agilent 34972A data logger
- 2x Agilent N9020A MXA signal analyzers
- 3x Agilent N6705B DC power analyzers
- BK Precision 4001A 4 MHz function generator
- HP 8596E spectrum analyzer
- Agilent MSO9254A MSO
- Agilent DSA-X 91304A MSO
- Agilent MSO7104B MSO
- 2x Agilent 34980A multifunction switches
- 2x Agilent 66319D power sources
- Agilent 6811B power source
- Agilent 6813B power source
- Agilent E3631A power source
- Agilent MSO7104B MSO
- Agilent E3646A power source
- HP 66332A power source
- Lots of handheld Agilent and Fluke DMMs
- Probably other stuff in storage
- No thermal cameras, unfortunately :(
Anyone else here get to play with cool toys at work? Anyone got a bigger collection? :)

That's not much compared to some of the big military companies I've worked at. But still, yeah, an awesome list.

I'll offer you £100 for the lot . I've gotta make a profit and this stuff is going to take up store space for some time. Rent's not cheap, this stuff's going to be hard to sell. I can call in an expert of mine on multi-scopes and oscillometers if you want.

Make sure you check the dumpster regularly too.

I'd have to be careful with pictures because most of our projects are highly confidential, and I could get into huge trouble if something leaks out. That said, here is a picture of our $31,855 MSO9254A:

Don't forget those function supplies

It doesn't matter what tools you have, it matters what you do with them.

When projects are highly confidential, it's important to regulary cleaning up your desk and workspace.
And then make pics :-)

Stuff we don't own does not count, because guys working in IC fabs have best toys by a margin :D
And...

Giving pictures of the test instruments you mention, I think it’s not confidential. :)

Not really. It's nice to work somewhere where they want to spend money on equipment. I had to take my own equipment to work on several occasions to get a measurement done. OTOH what your employer spends on equipment cannot be spend on your salary >:D
I'm missing a proper logic analyser on your list. A thermal imager may be a nice tool as well.

I work at a large defence company and your list looks a bit low rent and basic by comparison :)
In terms of one single type of equipment we have more high end spectrum analysers (eg Agilent PXA, PSA and various R&S and Tek) than the total number of items in your list. The signal/spectrum analysers in your list aren't top lab grade quality by any means.
None of it belongs to me (and a small amount of it is rented rather than owned) but I do have access to a lot more (and higher grade) test gear than your list. But it is a fairly big company and I expect there will be others on here who work for even bigger R&D companies with even bigger test gear budgets :)
