Title: Comparing actual E8 to E4

Found a local sale on a used E8 case , extra battery and the starting price is $1,500 , so wondering if there is a actual difference between stock E8 & E4 ?
Haven't shopped for an E8 , because of the E4 hack , and if I could make a deal at $1,000 - 1,200 then the need to find details of both ?

Dang and now I see Flir has about doubled the max range of temp .

E4 and E8 hardware platforms are identical except for the labelling. If you get an E8, you would likely still want to upgrade it to release its full capabilities.

Seems like finding on average , an E4 & hacking would be cheaper , with the only difference being software
