Hello.
These two brands have similar specifications but different price, I checked some of their captured pictures, but never a direct comparison.
Does anyone used or have both devices, and can you tell us is the Therm-app worth the extra money?
Thanks!

I own Themal Expert Q1 Plus (F1.0 lens).
In my opinion the biggest advantage of thermApp is better android app and the fact that it is supported by a few non-official android apps which make it even better.
ThemalExpert Q1 has a great sensor but android app is garbage... So I export all images in csv and convert them to image with my windows software:

There was talk of the ThermApp model range being discontinued and only a ThermApp MD medical model being produced. This appears plausible as manufacturers of thermal imaging cameras are focussed on producing large quantities of fever detection cameras to take advantage of market demand for such at the moment. If it is the case, then either used or old stock may be the only way to obtain a ThermApp.

Does the TE-Q1 not work with ThermViewer? ThermViewer is much better than the Opgal app when used with the ThermApp Pro.

No it is not supported:
https://apkpure.com/thermviewer-for-therm-app-and-xtherm-thermal/com.bitera.ThermViewer
"it supports Xtherm T3s, T3Pro and ThermApp series cameras, including TH (professional temperature measurement) and Pro (640*480) version."
