Data logger for PC210 IR camera

(1/2) > >>

Lexy:
Hi all,

I've updated my PC210Viewer with the ability to log the temperature that is shown in the top left corner to a chart. The data can also be exported as a CSV file.

The project git is here: https://github.com/Lexy1972/PC210Viewer

A prebuild is here: https://github.com/Lexy1972/PC210Viewer/releases/download/V1.1/PC210Viewer.release.1.1.zip

Cheers,
Alex

Hawaka:
Nice project and nice addition  :-+

I wish there was the possibility to drop a point (or multiple) anywhere on the image and get the same reading with a curve, but that's gonna be more complex. Maybe it could color match to the scale to find the temperature?

Lexy:
Yeah, I was already thinking of such a feature, but that's more complex (but doable).

I don't know if it will be accurate enough though, because the interpretation/estimation of the colors to temperature can be of.

If i find some spare time, I'll have a go at it.

Hi Alex,
I have just registered and am new to this forum.
Could you please tell me how I can try or run your PC210Viewer?
Thanks
Karl

Lexy:
Hi Karl,

Thank you for your interest. In the opening post there is a link to a zip file with the application. I'll place it here again:

https://github.com/Lexy1972/PC210Viewer/releases/download/V1.1/PC210Viewer.release.1.1.zip

Simply download and unpack the zip, then start 'PC210Viewer.exe'. No need to install, althoug you might need to install a .net version (version 7.0), but when you start the 'PC210Viewer.exe', it will pop up a dialog if the correct version of .net is not installed and lead you to a download to install it. The start 'PC210Viewer.exe' again and it should work.
