Just a funny story I wanted to share.
One cool thing about my current job is we have a FLIR E60 in one of our hardware labs. So I was getting a drink in the break room when I smelled what seemed to be something burning. I was a little concerned and alerted our office manager. She looked around and went to touch the appliances to see if any of them were overheating. I went to grab the camera from the lab and did a quick scan around the room. It was definitely reassuring to see that the FLIR E60 didn't pick up anything that could be an electrical fire.
So yeah, thermal cameras are awesome. Too bad they aren't cheaper.
