Flir E75 lens cover fastener replacement

I have a Flir E75 thermal camera and I am missing the fastener/screw that holds the rubber lens boot/cover on the front of the camera and would like to know what size thread/pitch so I can find something that will work.

As ridiculous as it sounds, I have contacted Flir customer service to purchase a replacement fastener, but they told me that because it fastens to the body of the camera I have to send the whole thing in for service.... but they can sell me the lens cover itself.

I explained... that you have to remove the screw to replace the lens cover, so how can they sell the lens cover and not also require it to be installed by the service dept.?

I have never heard of anything so absurd!
