I received my (new to me) Flir E75 camera today.
Amazing, outer case came with 'like new' original outer cardboard, all accessories still sealed in plastic except for a battery and the charger.
Not a blemish, not a speck of dust or wear... no marks on the case, inside or out... I really don't think this camera was used more than a couple times.
It still has the screen protector and it is still like new.
I'm assuming somewhere in the software there is a usage meter that logs hours or something of that nature?
Installed battery and seems to work fine, but to be honest, this is my first thermal imaging camera, so I have A LOT to learn and will be doing lots of reading here.
I bought this off Ebay for $2200.00 US, how did I do?

Sounds like a good deal to me if you have $2K for a decent thermal camera to spare :-+
The E75 is now a discontinued model and it is a great opportunity to buy ex demo or old stock at a good discount. That said, $2K2 is a deep discount on its original price so some caution is advised when buying such bargains. I always contact FLIR when I get a deal like this and ask them to check the cameras history and stolen property registry. It does no harm to play safe as the camera can call home with its serial number when connected to an internet PC ! If buying on eBay you can get bargains, but due diligence is still a good idea :-+ Sadly a camera I purchased in the past turned out to be an ‘as new’ official demo camera that should never have appeared on eBay. It was a special version with all capabilities enabled. It turned out to have been stolen from the agent when a salesman was dismissed. I was sad to have to hand that back to the Sales Agent but these things do happen.
If your camera checks-out OK with FLIR, enjoy it and know that you got it at a good price considering its excellent condition. FLIR cameras can be considered “over priced” when new, but they are still fine performers and worth buying at the right price :-+
The hours run meter is not accessible to you.

I just checked and the E75 is still available to buy from remaining stock in the UK. The price is around £7K which translates to around $7K in the USA. So yes, you got a good deal :)

Registered the camera to my account on the Flir website and it appears it was never registered before.
Next I will update the Firmware to the latest 3-1-2023 update.

I dismantled a FLIR E75, and the FPA appearance of the detector is the same as that of the FLIR TAU. The structures of E75 and E95 are also the same, and attempting to exchange detectors can also work, indicating that E75 is limited. The movement structure adopts the FLIR T540 T520 movement structure.
This machine seems to have a common problem. I encountered a problem where two machines did not generate images after startup, but instead displayed checkerboards. After confirming that the FPA socket is faulty on the motherboard, replacing it with a new M2GL025-FCSG325 chip still cannot solve the problem.
I am trying to solve it. If anyone encounters it, you can communicate with me

I have seen the checkers maybe 5-6 times over the past years!
