FLIR One on iOS or Android ?

Hello,

I have an iPhone 5s and a Motorola G2.
I'm not sure which platform is more interesting for a FLIR One (2nd gen) or has more potential ?

It seems that iOS has more apps, but the ones on Android (Thermal Camera) looks very interesting.
It also seems that the official FLIR One app is better/stable on iOS than Android ?

And I've looked at the tear down of the FLIR One, because I'm worried about the battery.
But I haven't found where I can buy a replacement battery ?

I would suggest you buy android version so that you can install this app to get the most out of Flir One (ful 160x120 resolution, implemented super-resolution...):

Get a small phone charging battery....flirone can be used while its plugged in the wall or a phone charging battery.

i have flir for android...ive posted pics using Thermal camera+ here in the thermal image gallery.

Of course I can use an external charger, but sometimes when the battery is dead, the whole system is dead.
So I would like to be able to change the battery in the near future (I've see battery goes dead after 2 years).

I may be mistaken, but it seems that I have read that the Flir One official app on iOS gives a better image than on Android.
Is Thermal Camera on Android gives better pictures than the official app on iOS ?
