Title: FLIR ONE PRO USB-C (Android) and connecting it to a Windows PC
Post by: peter-h on January 20, 2021, 04:20:01 pm
I can see lots of old discussions on the older versions of this camera but can't see anything current.

I can set up a winXP laptop if needed, or winXP VM under win7, or whatever...

An alternative would be a dedicated USB FLIR camera, and they do exist, but mostly a lot more expensive, plus I like the option of using it with the phone.

FLIR say nothing about this.

Many thanks for any pointers.

Just bumping this thread.

If you connect this camera to a windows PC, what do you see? Does it come up as an imaging device on USB?

I have one data point: I bought the camera. The USB-C port shows absolutely nothing on a windows 7 PC. It is purely for charging, it appears.

To connect up the port which the phone uses I would need a female-female USB-C adaptor. I might get one and see what happens.
