FLIR SC6000 Can't save NUCs
« on: March 28, 2024, 10:39:03 pm »
Hi,

We have a SC6000 camera where I cannot save NUCs. When trying to save NUCs in ResearchIR 4 or ExamineIR, after performing e.g. an internal NUC, I cannot see the newly generated NUC which is "supposedly" saved inside the camera's internal flash memory (the software tells me the NUC was saved after performing it, yet I don't see it in the available NUCs after, no matter how many times I restart it and test again, re-do it, re-try again, etc.).

I found a procedure with the "large GUI" SC6000 controller (Thermovision SC6000 Camera Controller) where you can enter manufacturing mode and then unmount, erase and format the data memory (where the NUCs are saved). So I did. We then performed 2 NUCs and were able to save them. Victory we screamed. Until the 3rd NUC we tried doing, where it didn't save it just like before, after numerous tries.
We then reformatted and tried again and this time couldn't even save one NUC.

I wonder if anybody had this happen with a FLIR SC6000 camera (or any FLIR camera for that matter), and if you were able to fix it.
