For those interested, I attach some pictures of the Dahua modules that contain the MobIR cameras.
The camera is actually called the MobIR AIR according to the Android App and it is the same as the CB360 used for Covid 19 screening. This means that its has a restricted temperature measurement range, but enhanced measurement accuracy. Neither of these are particularly important to me in my use of the cameras. The TIMO120 core is offered in standard and fever screening models but I do not know if it is possible to switch between modes or they are fixed at time of manufacture/calibration. if Guide provide me with the requested information, I may discover more about this.
I have tested the cameras with both the standard MobIR and fever screening CB360 android applications. Whilst both work with the camera, only the CB360 APP provided temperature measurement. The MobIR APP just reported "-19.1C" at all times but the normal scene image was displayed.
Guide provide Windows PC software for the MobIR camera on their web site. I have downloaded it but have yet to test its interaction with the Fever Screening version of the MobIR camera. I will report back here when I do.
The original system from which I have harvested these camera modules is as detailed below and I include a picture of the system.
"Dahua DHI-ASI7213X-T1 thermal temperature Station with face mask recognition"
I wanted a TIMO120 core to test, I gained two complete USB-C MobIR cameras via these Dahua modules. A good result in my book
