Hi everyone,
I'm interested on buy the HIKMICRO Mini2Plus V2, mostly for the resolution and the 10cm minimum focus distance for PCB inspection.
Anyone who have tested it and can evaluate the image quality ?
Best regards.

The image quality is quit good.
I attached images of a ESP32-C3 Supermini, a LD2410C Radar module and a Raspberry Pi 3B.
Due to the manual focus its possible to use the best distance to fit your area of interest.
The device works with iOS (tested iOS 15 on iPhone 7 and 18 on iPhone 14 + iPad Pro) and Android (testet 14 on Samsung).
Both Apps work OK, but have some minor bugs. The Android version seems to be a bit better than the iOS version.
Compared to a Flir i3 (with patch to i7 - thanks to eevblog :-) the measured temperatures are a bit off.
Especially colder areas (cold corners of the room) are shown around 3 degree to low, while warmer/hot ones are measured very similar +/- 1 degree
The device heats a bit up when used.
The device is a bit slippery and the adapters a bit wobbly to use.
I think i will need some 3D printed mounting solution instead of putting it directly to the USB/Lightning port.
Over all I'm quite happy with the device.

I've uploaded some photo, also with additional lens.
Best regards.

Hello, honestly I'm not very satified with mine. It has 4 K difference between the diagonal ends of an isothermal image. I contacted them, but got no clear answer. It is not yet clear to me whether this is a defect of mine or a common behavior. Other people complain about this problem, but ususally reporting 2 K between corners... not 4 K like mine. It is clearly something related to self-calibration. I'll try to insist to have it replaced by a new one, let's see what happens. The service person I contacted is very kind, but actually didn't solve, at least as far as now. I'll keep you updated. Francesco
