EXX update problem

Just did an update to the latest firmware in my e50 and at first everything seemed fine then when I needed to add in a wifi password the virtual keyboard came up but did not allow any input not with the screen or any buttons. I checked and the touchscreen is working so some file needs attention. If anyone has a clue to which one is for the virtual keyboard I would appreciate it. I have tried reloading the old firmware and the same problem continues, actually tried all the other firmwares and also my stock backup files.
