I originally bodged an insert to fit the P2 into this very nice JJC memory card case.
I've now done a 3D printable soft TPU insert for this.
You could probably do one in a hard plastic using flexure spring inserts for grip but I was already looking for something to try TPU
The case is very nice, far better than anything you could 3D print.

Excellent work. Thank you Mike.
I have yet to try printing TPU but this will be on the list to do if I get into that material.

Thanks for the great reviews, teardown and discussion of the P2Pro. I got myself one and am very happy with it.
I saw the great idea that Mike had regarding the JJC uSD card case, so I got one of those too. Unfortunately I really didn't like putting the cable inside on top of the P2Pro's window. I also didn't want to carve up the original foam inserts.
After a few hours with OpenSCAD and several meters of PLA, I now have an insert the fits inside the JJC case after removing the uSD card inserts. A bit of isopropyl alcohol was used to help remove the inserts and seperate the two parts, cut away 1/4 of the result and glue it back into the top.
Now the P2Pro, its Macro lens and a few USB C adapters all fit safely inside the case, the cable does not.
Attached is the OpenSCAD source. Not pretty or elegant as some OpenSCAD projects tend to be,
...ugly but effective...
