Is it possible to use FLIR One Radiometric data with matlab
« on: February 22, 2017, 03:37:04 pm »
Hello! I am here to ask if it were possible to somehow extract radiometric data from the SDK using FLIR One.

If possible I would like to know if you could provide a detailed explanation on how that would be done.

Also, if you have file examples to upload, I would love to take a look at them!

Thanks!

edit
Don't forget I'm trying to analyze this data in MATLAB. I forgot to add that to the discussion as well  :-X

also here is this information

"In this forum it talks about taking these images, and saving the binary data returned form thermalPixelData() and load it in Matlab as 16 bits per pixel values.
So I was hoping someone could provide more feedback, or even post some sample code on reading in the Kelvin image(using C or any programing language), or basic info on the header file size.
Thanks

below is a link to the forum for the source.

This is a better explanation of what I need as well.

I ended up learning how to develop the code to make this work for any future people out there.

You will need to download Jmatio library, and set it to do the writing when the onCapture is pressed.

Things to make sure you do is load the pixels as short[] rather than int[]

Also be sure to load the ByteBuffer to LITTLE_ENDIAN.

And you should get the app to spit out .mat files.
