Hello to all - my first post :)

Have recently bought a Guide PC210 and now want to buy a macro lens for as little money as possible . . .

Question 1: Are CO2 laser ZnSe lenses suitable for the task, or is there a different type needed for thermal cameras?

Question 2: If buying a CO2 laser ZnSe lens - which 'focal length' do I need? The ones I'm looking at have 8 to choose from (see image below)

Please Note: I'm perfectly fine with making my own adapter, all I want is the lens.

Much Thanks.

you should buy thermal imager and macro lens at the same time.

Ok. And which focal length should I have bought at the same time?

Question 1:
Yes - they work perfectly fine.

Question 2:
I would take 50.8mm... You can see the effect of a 50.8mm lens on a PC210 here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/thermal-imaging/guide-pc210-review/

You don't need to - here you can download one: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/thermal-imaging/guide-pc210-thermal-camera-anyone-familiar-with/msg4111042/#msg4111042
