Hello! I’m looking to purchase a handheld thermal imaging camera. Looking for under $700. Automotive and home use. Rotors, relays, wiring, heaters, electronics, breaker panel, etc. I see flir has lower resolution than most but I’m not an expert on the hardware. Recommendations? Thank you. I tried a TOpdon TC005 and was not happy in the least. Looking for a better unit but do t work with them everyday so unsure of specs and companies.
I was looking at the flir tg275 but unsure if that’s better for the money ($650)

I bought a CAT60 phone shortly after they came out for the convenience of having a phone with a built-in thermal camera - its always there when you might want to use it. I think there's a few successors out now.

I’m looking for a handheld, but something “current”. I see the week reveal pro is currently $400 but unsure if that’s a sale to get purchases or to move out old stock before new models come in. That’s usually my luck! lol.

I tried a TOpdon TC005 and was not happy in the least.
And what's so bad about it? It's a decent thermal camera. Maybe you'll like the HTi HT A10. Flir is overpriced, and they often have a refresh rate of only 8Hz due to military limitations.

Last week I went to CES2024 and I tried tc001 on their booth, the price is quite awesome only $230，but the thermal image is a little bit worse than infiray p2pro which is around 300$. There is no perfect product while the important thing is the product can help us to find potential problems accurately in our daily life, this would meet my needs well.

I ordered a HikMicro B10. I guess we’ll see how I like it.

They have the same resolution and most likely the same microbolometer sensor. The difference in image quality is due to software image processing. In most inexpensive thermal cameras with the same parameters as Infiray equipment, you can expect to find their microbolometer inside, which great compared to the price and performance of pro branded manufacturers.
P2Pro also comes with an attached macro lens, significantly improving image sharpness up close.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you go with B10 and not B01? My understanding is that B01 has Wifi capability and is also slightly cheaper than B10.

I tried the XH09 at CES, and it was interesting to see that they're focusing on 'All in one'. Their algorithms are amazing. The imaging feels great.
