med2000 7.5 IRIS camera
« on: April 28, 2025, 04:19:55 pm »
Hello brilliant people..
I have a med2000 7.5 IRIS camera as well as the WINtes2 software copy on disc.... the issue is that it is requiring an UNLOCK CODE supposedly free from Meditherm.com... However I have not been able to contact them. They do not have a customer service phone number that i've been able to find and they have not responded to my email request(s) Can anyone help direct me on how to obtain this "free" code so i can use my thermography camera? Thank you!

Med2000 was originally the Compix 222 camera before Compix was bought by Meditherm.

I am supplying links to two threads in this forum that will be of interest to you. The second link includes a temporary password that has an expiry date but may be used if you set your PC RTC to a date before its expiry :) It would appear that Meditherm only provided a free demo period and the fully licensed software is chargeable.

Best Wishes

Fraser

Quote from post by forum member Kosmic……

“ So my unlock code eventually expired and was looking into fixing that problem permanently by disassembling the exe (Visual Basic app) and debugging in assembly. Trying to understand what's going in in VB from assembly is quite painful. Would have been easier if the software would have been coded in C or C++. Anyway that avenu led nowhere.

I ended up realizing you can just change the clock of you PC and use a temp unlock code  |O

You can use this code to unlock Wintes2: C98KCJW6 expires on 1/1/2020 (just set the clock of you PC before this date before starting the app)”

have you tried 'runasdate' ?
Small programme from 'nirsoft'

Saves messing with the system clock
