Microscope vision

Hello,

I use this type of microscope to look at welds and other aspects of printed circuit boards.
The software provided is HI View. This works quite well, but the internal light of the microscope makes the welds too bright and obstructs vision, even with minimal brightness.
Do you use other software to limit this highlight. (Software with filters??)
