Mystery thermal camera Germanium lens - anyone recognise it ?
Fraser:
I bought a dinky little thermal camera lens some time back and have no idea from which camera it came. I bought the lens from the same seller who supplied my Ex SCOTT Fire Brigade thermal camera Raytheon 300A core, but the lens does not look to come from such a camera core.
The high quality Germanium lens elements are mounted in a smooth sided shell that does not have any threads for focus adjustment. It was either a sliding adjustment, as found on some FLIR Photon and Tau cameras, or it sat in another component that was adjustable :-//
Does anyone recognise this little lens please ?
The diameter of the aluminium shell is 22mm with a depth of 10mm.
