I used to frequent there, similar setup to this site. Lots of solid info. CJ7Hawk and Stanley over there are the resident experts. I know quite a bit so I'll offer to help as I can.

That's  exceptional good board, lot of good infos, signed up, but I've never got account, found there basic information about my MEL DC1034  :-)

Sure, I supposed that, that's why I asked here, I wasn't prepared to get flamed for posting  some  questions about  2nd generation passive IC device  in the strictly speaking "Thermal Imaging" department :)

1. How many hours this tube has lifespan - it's inside  MEL DC1034 night vision device or how many hours typically 2nd generation tube has lifespan?
2. Why I am getting bad picture  when I see different bird species on local lake, and few hundred meters objects are much clearer?
