Hi all,
I was quite keen to see how good this unit would be and whilst it "crashed" on power up a few times, when it did power up, I found the screen would "freeze" at random situations when panning across a room.
The "freezing" up is really annoying, so it is going back for a refund.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Did the system lock up with the screen freeze?
Sure it wasn't just performing a NUC? The internal shutter activating to perform a NUC will cause the scene to freeze momentarily. Most uncooled thermal imager will do this. Usually the guidance is to power it on and leave it up for several minutes to stabilize. Then the screen freezing will not occur as often.
Note that 'momentarily' here can be anything from 200ms up to several seconds depending on the model of camera.
Some of the earlier fire cameras (China, even ISG) could spend more time with the picture frozen in calibration than showing an image when they were heating up quickly.
