Title: Seek Compact Pro - 3rd party compatible software?
Post by: flyingfishfinger on October 24, 2017, 06:32:42 pm
Hi all-
I just got a Seek Compact Pro, and it's pretty nice. I've been doing a lot of reading here about the possible improvements that can be made with 3rd party applications, but as far as I can tell from my searches the past few days, none of the current 3rd-party software supports the Pro yet (Frenky, JoeC etc) and besides JoeC (who says he does not currently have access to a Pro version in order to add it) they seem to be a little out-of-date.

Have any of them been updated to read out the Seek Compact Pro? Right now I'm not too particular about what OS it runs on, but Android or Linux would be the best.

Thanks,
R

See this topic https://www.eevblog.com/forum/thermal-imaging/windows-software-for-seek-pro-and-initial-commands/msg1327340/#msg1327340 (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/thermal-imaging/windows-software-for-seek-pro-and-initial-commands/msg1327340/#msg1327340).  He has some code to read from the Seek Pro.  He references the github repository where he got the essential information and that code was developed on Linux, he said.
