Just picked up a ht-301 really cheap, £350 new. I am impressed by the hardware, but found the default hti image software lack function to lock the colour scale. I'm also aware of thermviewer but the image is somehow upside down and I can't flip it around so can't justify paying for a license. Are there other software I can use on android? My phone is the Samsung. S20fe

To flip the image in thermviewer you should tip the phone to the right and quickly return it to vertical position. Only downside of not having a licence - its harder to warm up camera or use it wor more than 5 mins. other apps - try xtherm from iray, i will check out others when will reach android phone

The best software for this camera (and a few others) hands-down is "IRCAM Thermal Viewer" by R.M.H. Solutions in the Microsoft app store for Windows. The license is expensive but well worth it. The developer has been working on it in Discord for nearing 2 years, and it's come a very long way to being as far as I know the most competent thermal analysis software in the market (you have to pay LOTS of money to Flir for software near as good). https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9N0X5C7DWHFF?hl=en-US&gl=US
One feature I've never seen before from other software across any hardware: you can record raw video and post-process that in the software as you see fit. So run your experiment, and adjust emissivity after the fact, for instance. Or set up some new measurements after time of initial recording. The measurements you can set up are also quite complex.

Thanks. Flipping the phone quickly seems to work in thermviewer.
xtherm doesn't seem to detect my HT-301 camera.

How do I record raw videos to be processed by IRCAM Thermal Viewer?

Tried with new versions of apps - mine works only with hti image, thermviewer and infiray app with orange eye.
