T2l vs t2s plus vs t2 pro and also iPhone question
« on: November 24, 2022, 01:58:12 am »
Based on my research the t2s plus is geared towards more macro usage vs the t2l.  I have an iPhone and I really only can find the t2 pro and the t2s plus with iOS support.  The t2 pro seems to be for viewing distance. Would the t2s plus be ok for general around the house usage?  Also want to use for my reptile enclosure to get a good read on temps.   Other thing I would like to know is can I use the usb c t2l on the iPhone using a dongle to convert the connector?

Most sure it won't work on Apple devices.
For example on Seek iOS version have one chip in plus on board used for authentication.
And is not only chip required, since is not hardware connected, software running on device must "present" this to iOS to enable communication.

Thanks.  Are the only iOS models the t2s+, t2 pro and t2 search?  I didn’t see any iOS versions for the t3 either.

The new iPhones will have USB-C so maybe they will work with the new iPhone...

According to the cameras you mentioned i would say:
Thats images of the P2 with and without the magnetic macro lensholder...

The T2L has manual focussing which can be great in some cases but it's also annoing in other cases and quite fiddely with the small ring.
The P2Pro is a fixed focus camera and need no focussing. You can use the macro lensholder to get sharp thermal images from a very short distance.

The P2Pro has without the macro lens a wider FOV, which make it better for building-inspection or things like that. This makes me tend more to a P2.

Edit:
I could find a P2 Pro for the iPhone: https://www.sunsky-online.com/p/DCA2076H/InfiRay-P2-Pro-8-Pin-iOS-Phones-Night-Vision-Infrared-Thermal-Imager-Grey-.htm
