Uni-Trend UTi260B / UTi690B repairs

NOT an Advert…. Just information for those who have asked.

While I was taking a break from the forum I received some requests to repair Uni-Trend UTi260B and UTi690 cameras. I have just repaired a UTi260B that was “over-volted” for a forum member and will consider investigating faults on other Uni-T cameras with some caveats.

1. The camera may, or may not, be economically repairable and I offer no promises of repair
2. My investigations and repairs are not free and I do expect financial compensation for my time (sorry no free repairs)
3. The cost of shipping a camera in both directions rests with the owner
4. I am not becoming a repair business and offer repairs only on an ad-hoc basis for members of this forum who need my help.

If anyone wishes to discuss thermal camera repair with me, please feel free to send details of the patient via a PM. If I consider the patient to be beyond reasonable help at that point, I will advise rather than have the owner spend money on shipping etc.
