Title: The thermal imaging spreadsheet
Post by: Spirit532 on March 12, 2018, 05:00:10 am
As per suggestion, I have started a thermal imaging spreadsheet, with the goal of eventually listing every camera discussed here in the most possible detail.
At the moment I've only started filling it out with mobile thermal cameras(as I have collected some info already), but I would like it to have every relevant and somewhat obtainable camera.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IcCbsWIZTmaUPZ3AQ7Cae-iaBqrXfMCgJg_7ZAOR3s4/edit?usp=sharing

If you would like to contribute to the page, there are two ways:
1) If you're a trusted contributor of this forum(basically, just not a newbie), ask for an editing invite and I'll send one over to you.
2) Comment in this thread with as many camera specifications available to you - preferably all of them, including some notes, but not required. Me or someone with write access will add them in.

If you notice an inaccuracy, anyone can comment. Please do so only in the notes section of the sheet to keep things clean.
Same goes for missing columns.

Thanks a lot. Please add also the connection type and if it had shutter and internal battery.

Here some ideas: make it a 3 part: manufacturer, series, model and then format it into collapsible rows.

Add hyperlinks to the name to get to the official manufacturer website, or the website of the sensor... Maybe even links to an eBay search when listing a used price.

Links to example images(and maybe we should start to collect some kind of metric for this, and everyone can contribute. Link to relevant forum threads and teardowns.

For all the older cameras it would be nice to get a date of first available and when it got discontinued.

You could make an additional tab with upcoming devices.

Temperature range, Accuracy, Radiometric video recording, Battery time, Minimum focus distance, Macro lens, ROI definition, Emissivity set for each ROI, Handheld, Test bench, Long-time online monitoring, Warranty, Software, Display size, Picture-in-Picture,

This is great!  I was hoping you'd come around with it.

Lens mount type would be a good addition.

Thanks for having the idea, but the spreadsheet has not been improved in a while. There are only 5 models in the list...

I've been fairly busy, sorry. If anyone would like to contribute yourself, please let me know.

Ok don't worry, if I've got some time I'll add more information to a LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet and upload it here so you can merge.
