« on: October 15, 2024, 06:59:54 am »
hello,

new here and been lurking around. enthusiast of DIY thermal imaging and wanting to learn more.

i saw some mention of a DIY thermal imaging discord. im more active on that platform than forums albeit i make an effort to login 1-2 times per week. would anyone have the link to any discord servers and could i join?

i saw mention of one in a post from earlier this year.

thanks!

There is also https://discord.gg/r9yksYDd, DIY Thermal Imaging which despite it's name is actually mainly a support forum for the closed-source IRCAM Thermal Viewer software, https://rmg-engineering.com/

The software appears to be pretty comprehensive and supports a lot of cameras but is not free of charge and only runs on Windows, so I have not used it. The closed-source aspect is also a no-no as, to me, the whole point of running independent software is so you can modify it to your preferences.

The Discord does, however, have some general discussion which can be quite useful.
